Former Manchester City apprentice signed by manager John Barton in 1992.

Allan was virtually an ever present at full back until losing his place to Jason Kavanagh in October 2000.

He moved to Worcester City, rejoining John Barton, on loan in December 2000.

Davies was not a prolific goal scorer during his time with the Brewers, but the goals he did score always seemed to be more spectacular than ordinary.
