Striker who started his career at Manchester City
where he first attracted the attention of Nigel Clough. Alan made
only one first team appearances for City and spent time on loan at
Macclesfield Town before being released.
He joined the Brewers from Stockport County and
became an integral part of the squad that won promotion to the
Conference as Unibond League Champions.
Alan was released at the end of the 2001/02
season, returning to his native North West to combine his career as
a model with his football.
