Nigel Clough looked to have snapped up a promising young talent with the signing of Chris from Lincoln United. Chris was being tracked by a number of league clubs, including Leicester City, but chose to come to Burton Albion instead.

Chris was a quick and skilful winger, who also showed that he could operate effectively in an attacking role.

He suffered a knee injury in October 2006 and it was a surprise to most fans when Chris was released from the club rather than being given a chance to force his way back into the team.

Chris joined Gainsborough Trinity after leaving the Brewers and later went on to play for York City.
