Signed on a loan deal from Doncaster Rovers,
Jamie Price immediately won over the fans with a solid display on
his debut in the 0-0 draw at Carlisle United. He slotted straight in
at right back to fill the gap caused by the loss of Terry Henshaw
with a broken leg.
A part of the Doncaster Rovers side that won
promotion from the Conference, Jamie was clearly at ease at this
level and his first two appearances saw the team keep clean sheets.
An injury in his next appearance, a Birmingham Senior Cup tie, saw
him miss a few games, but Nigel Clough had seen enough to convince
him to try and secure his services for another month. Price though
had a change of heart and decided instead to return to Belle Vue to
fight for a place in the first team.
