the opening warm up game on Saturday 8th July.
The two sides faced each other in 2003 when the then

BACK IN THE BIG TIME (20/05/06)
Hereford United made a return to the Football League
after defeating Halifax Town 3-2 in the Conference play-off final.
In a thrilling match at the Walkers Stadium, home of Leicester City,
the Bulls made up for two successive play-off defeats to play league
football again for the first time since 1997.
The result will no doubt come as a relief to
Staffordshire Constabulary who can look forward to a season without
marauding Welshmen invading Burton.
