details before travelling.
The Stadium: Opened in 1998, the Madejski
Stadium is a purpose built all seated stadium on the outskirts of
Reading. The ground is certainly not spectacular when compared
against many of the new stadiums that have sprung up in recent years
but it does offer spacious seats and good views of the pitch.
The stadium's out of town location means that
nearby facilities are very limited. There is a retail park next door
which has a selection of fast food outlets, whilst drinking venues
are restricted to bars in nearby hotels.
The stadium does offer alcohol and the usual
range of football food.
