Highly experienced defender who joined the Brewers initially on a short term deal in December 2009.

He started his career with local club Scarborough before a £30,000 move to Derby County. Made over 100 appearances for the Rams, including a spell in the Premier League.

Left Pride Park after eight seasons, joining Luton Town for one season before moving on to Hereford United.

Left the Bulls following their relegation to League 2 at the end of the 2008/09 season and was on trial at the Pirelli Stadium in the summer but failed to land a place in Paul Peschisolido's squad.

After a move to League 2 rivals Darlington fell through he got a chance to revive his career with the Brewers and a string of impressive performances saw him earn an 18 month contract.
